Congrats Seth. Sounds like a great trip. I watched my first launch this past October from the beach in Ocean City, MD. The rocket was launched from the Wallops Island, Virginia launch site.

Must have been a thousand people watching. It was pretty cool.

Hopefully, you'll get to see the inner workings of "Mission Control".

They do have a few trips planned. I am not sure how many people are invited on each.

If it's like other brand's perks, corporate marketing parses out special event invites to their channels based on sales volume. Better results yield more invites. A certain allotment is held back for ambassadors and press.

Then the retailer chooses names from among their customer base to fulfill the invites they are allocated.

So it's a dual track technique to build brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.

Nice. How many Omega's have you purchased? I can't see how 1 speedmaster would get a trip for 2

Where are you going to? I had a chance to go into the NBL lab in Houston with the big pool and the mockup of the space station. I heard a funny story about how they were doing a simulation there and one of the phones in the mockup of mission control started ringing. When one of the engineers answered the phone "NBL Lab how can I help you" the guy in the other side end just said " hey its John what are you guys up to" the engineer said 'Who?" the gentleman responded John S. up on the Station I was bored and wanted to see what you were up to." Yes he was calling from the ISS which apparently has a Houston area code...thought was interesting.
