I had just stepped out of my office when I noticed the guy walking next to me had on a pepsi gmt.
Cool, 5 digit reference - I look again, the insert was super faded, the bracelet was vintage but excellent condition. 4 digit, bro. NOT 5. I knew this dude knew about watches or was gifted one and we'd find out real quick. Turns out he is a WIS, on TRF and we talked for about 4 blocks before I had to peel off to my hotel. I don't really get a chance to talk watches with anyone and this was definitely a fun moment for me. That is all! |

I have friends who are sort of into watches but I was the one who advised them and helped them get their first nice watch. So it is always great to bump into a fellow wis. Truly sad but the excitement grows when you realise you are talking to someone who knows what they are talking about.
