The 5513 is nice! If only they could make a nicely proportioned watch in the modern era...

The SD 40mm is the nicest watch there!

IMO - If they would have released the anniversary model in a 42MM with no cyclops, my tune would change. An extra 2mm after 50 years not so bad in "evolution". To put a cyclops on it, well you just made it a Submariner on steroids.

That's just my opinion. I think Rolex reserves the right to do what they want with that model considering they invented it in the first place .

Every 43mm SD they produce will be sold though. It satisfies the current trend of big watches very well and those who always wanted a larger submariner. It's a winner to many, perhaps just not the WIS who only had the SD4000 as the last model with closest ties to the past.

From last night's event, the rumor has it that the Sea-Dweller will be coming in within the next month. The other models later summer at best.

I think we know why they only put demo models out a these events, the smudges really show how grasped and grappled with these watches are.

Anyone have any side photos of the SD43? I am very interested in seeing
