The new gold blue sub is stunning - pics!
Yes guys, I tried it on today at my local AD
The watch is by far the best rolex i have ever touched The ceramic bezel and dial are a deep and dark blue color like the old bluesy if not better The light blue ugly dial (that we all saw at this years basel pics) will only come with the WG model as I was told You have to see it to believe how beautiful this sub is Had the chance to compare it with a gold black GMT II and the sub was the real winner A few bad cel phone shots

Reminds me of the blue Sub made fior the Asian market back in the 1980s but then in SS.

A beauty in photos and I'm sure, even prettier in 'the wild'.

Does the TT usually come out the next year after the introduction of the all gold? Then the following year SS? Due to the tough economic times, I wonder if Rolex will up the timetable for the SS version. I can only hope.

It does look like a sharp watch, but their is way to much gold and blue for my taste. I am a simple guy though, and SS is all I can wear.

I am with you. No bluesy, gold or polish for me. I am a SS guy. But you know what - I like to see TT/goldies and diamonds in pictures or on someone elses hand. Sometimes they are eyecatching.

Seen it in person.....not very impressed. The original BLUE of the Sub has somehow been missed out by the Rolex designers. Very sad!!

I prefer SS over TT in general except for the Blue TT Sub that JJ reviewed. That cobalt blue really grabbed me. Pity that the blue color in the photo has changed from the cobalt blue of the TT sub. I'll just have to eyeball it in person.

The only way they'll match the cobalt blue is to USE IT and have the ceramic match. I want to see it for myself, but...
