Titanium. It's cheaper than the steel and lighter. More special. Change that light grey ugly strap to black and you are gold.

I'm just picked up the ti after contemplating the SS for a year or so. When I saw the Ti, it instantly moved to the top of my list.

I would be happy with either but generally don't buy white dials so the Ti is better for me.

Being lighter is a great bonus with a watch as large as the 44 and frankly I love the grey strap. Have no idea what the beef is with it. It's a flawless match to the dial.

One owners perspective

Ti I think, tho haven't seen in yet but it looks mighty nice. Panda SS does as well, but this has more flavour I think.

In terms of MSRP, AP have priced the Ti just below the now discontinued SS. There aren't many things AP struggles with but pricing is certainly one of them

Thanks to everybody
I was trying both yesterday and the dial panda seems to be more immediate more direct while the titanium is bit too grey in some angles but in other looks like the old ceramic
I also change strap on titanium and the watch immediately change aspect

So is quite hard. Price wise I can get both for the same more or less because the shop can manage to make a better discount for ss due to stop production.

I also try the roc new one black dial but the sub dials really pop up too much. Probably the blue is more balanced.

How did you find the weight difference between the SS and Ti?

Also strap change? So did the AD change the strap on a new watch for you just to try, assuming you swap the grey out for a black? How did it look?

I always liked the SS, but the new TI feels and looks more special IMO.

Weight difference is not shocking is more when you move your wrist you realize the difference and also play a role how tight you set the strap
Due to less weight then the ti can be set less tightly

Black strap can be mounted officially and it looks another watch: the dial become darker and pop up more

I tried on the TI right when it was released and I'm underwhelm by it. I would pick my greytheme 42 over it anyday so for me it's definitely the panda the black ceramic match the black strap perfectly as well.

That sounds wonderful! I shall be waiting until the price goes down then... (it is abit inflated currently due to new release)

Weight difference doesn't seems to be too much but you realize the difference better when you move the wrist. SS feels like a weight while titanium follows the wrist without any inertia. I would say movement are more natural

Also the strap play a role: with Ti you can also have less tight strap (good for summer) while the SS should be tight for what I said above.

Changing strap from grey to black can be done officially with no cost. then the grey one will be kept by the store. BUt tehy told me they can give to me as present

Good insight, so you preferred the look of the Ti on the black strap?

I've sent the OP a PM with same advice or to email pics to me to post.

Interested to see the Ti on the black strap, I know another member did it but quickly reverted back to the grey.

I prefer the Ti over the SS and from your pics it also looks good against the black strap

Panda for me hands down. The dial just pops and has a nice contrast going.

Why the price should go down? The list price is defined....

30400 USD here. Not sure in sterling

BTW I think black works but still prefer the stock setup on the IO.

After seeing this pic I think the SS has a much better contrast over the Ti. Gotta see them IRL though to be 110% sure (which one is more of a beauty)

Ti was love at first sight. Didn't get the same feeling with Panda. Gotta try both on and see which one makes you tick.
