Air King Adventure

A few of you may remember my post last year when I bought this Air King (and maybe not, LOL).

She was purchased brand new last year (full retail at authorized dealer, ouch) but been with me through daily life, then a month of pre-deployment training and now more than two months in a very austere environment.

She's been worn daily for long periods of time in everything from snow, sleet, ice, dirt, sand, and salt water, as well as in temperature from freezing to 112 degrees... and is, I dare say, bullet proof.

I've attached a few photos from several days ago. The watch shot is "inside" the storm. No red dust broke the Rolex seal, but I'm STILL cleaning it out of my ears.

Enjoy your watches my friends!

Living the tent life in a harsh environment can get old....quick...but I smile when I look down at the Rolex. Life is about simple pleasures.

I have a few months to plan on my next Rolex purchase. Bob's watches has a 1970's Sub-Date (birth year watch) that is really calling my name if still available when I get back.

Built to take it! A good rinse to clean up the bracelet and it's ready to go.
