Is it alright to wear a Rolex (Sub) whilst using a UV sunbed?
As above, it won't damage it right?

Why would you want to do that? You actually want those marks on your arm?
However, would not really harm the watch I think, maybe on the longer run (lets say frequent sunbeds for a couple of years) your dial will start to discolor faster than usual.

Was about to ask the same question, but think you should use your own plain common sense regarding sun beds.

That is a good question - I have never worn mine in the daylight for fear it might fade.

Would it make a difference if I did, say, a side part versus no part? If a side part, would a left part be more aesthetically in tune with my Rolex (with arabic numbers)? Quicksilver: You're just jealous. |

I just slip mine into my lead underwear during the process. I don't take any chances...with a Rolex either.
I prefer a shade of pale over skin cancer. You couldn't pay me to do that. Why don't you try the toxic chemical tan instead? You'll be fine because Rolex opted for 904L for exactly this reason. |

I just heard about a UV-blocking moisturizing lotion designed specifically for 904L steel to prevent sun damage. Can't seem to remember where I saw it, however......

Arrgh... silly thread. How about, "Is it safe to wear my Rolex if I jump off a building wearing a wide brimmed hat with feathers and a pair of shorts and a singlet"? I had to use that word "singlet" as it make me think about JJ. How crazy is that? Go sheep!
