newb here from Austin, TX
Hi all-
I've been reading the posts/threads for quite some time. There is some great information here! Anyway, I currently own a black dial Daytona (M). I decided to post last night when I was watching "60 Minutes" and realized that I am like many of you here (a WIS). CBS correspondent Scott Pelley was interviewing Henry Paulson (Treasury Secretary). Every few seconds, from just under Pelley's jacket sleeve, you could clearly see a black dial daytona. Other shots also showed the daytona with the new style clasp. Sorry, I don't have any screen shots. I thought - nobody would care or notice that kind of detail, except for a true WIS. Ironically, Henry Paulson is supposedly worth 4-7 hundred million dollars and was wearing a Timex under his jacket sleeve!! |

Now may be a good time to succeed from the union. I think Texas can do that. Any historians out there?

The stop watch in the beginning of 60 minutes is a Heuer. Thought you would be interested. Anyway, Welcome to TRF! Its great to have another WIS join in on the fun.
