Polishing pressure loosening crystal gasket?

Good day. I have just bought a new Submariner Date. I know this might sound paranoid but I would just like to start using my watch correctly.

I would just like to ask: Would the downwards pressure and the sideways / radiating motion when rubbing or polishing the crystal even with just my fingers (no water, soap or fluid) somehow eventually damage or weaken the crystal gasket?

I understand that over time exposure to temperature changes and other factors can cause the gasket to become brittle. Can too much polishing / rubbing the crystal cause the crystal to fall off?

These watches are built like a tank! I doubt you simply rubbing the sapphire crystal would impact any gaskets.
And yes you're being paranoid, simply start enjoying your new sub.

Crystal is pressed into the case using a special tool. I have never heard of one just "falling out" and don't think that is possible. Enjoy your new watch!

That's a new one. No - touching the crystal will not damage your watch. People have been in motorcycle crashes wearing a sub and it still worked with 30% of the metal ground off.

Enjoy the watch. Insure it, and then do whatever you want to it.

No,...the pressure these watches are built to take while diving is huge. To the point the crystal slightly bends at great depths. Imagine how much force you would need in your fingers to come close to half that amount of pressure.

Correct = wear and enjoy. Rolex makes incredibly durable and robust watches.
