Icon8 Yet another eBay fake.

I've just realised even though I've been a member for a year and have lurked on the site for a very long time, I actually haven't posted before.

So errr, hi guys

It's a bit sad but I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time reporting fake Rolex watches to eBay. This one is no exception. I contacted the seller but he's adamant it's original. I said this model should be 18ct white gold not steel and worth £20+k he said it is "hall marked gold" and they paid £18k for it. I'll call BS on that https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192233644327

Well, if it's steel, it's fake.

Lousy pictures are also an indicator.

Nice one guys! That's a few grand someone has been saved from wasting! Why people bid thousands on these things without doing any research is beyond me A simple search on the serial number would have given any prospective buyer the answer he needed.
The serial number of this watch was the classic fake V646829.

They're back with a new account but it's the same fake POS from the same seller, I recognise the wrong spelling of "original". They did the same on the previous auction.

Help me out guys, I've already reported it.

"Only 3 day Listing As Need Funds Fast So Immediate Payment Please!"

Read:

This fake watch has been removed before so by using a 3 day auction we're hoping we can sell it before ebay realise and pulls our listing again.

The photo with the serial number showing was on their first auction that eBay removed. They've obviously decided not to show this fake indicator on this auction.

I reported it also.
Why is the obvious fake and scammer still posting?
How does eBay let this go on?
The people bidding are bigger morons to give this guy with no feedback thousands of dollars

Yes it's very strange how some folk can drop thousands of pounds on something they know nothing about, I mean that hideous watch is not even a good fake.

It's still up for sale at £3900, hopefully eBay will remove it today.

Sorry, I got no idea what security checks they do.
But as a member I think he was disqualified, so for PayPal/Bank details they "may" be blocked

We can only do our best here
