I am such a Dorklehead!!!!!
Ok, it goes beyond Dorklehead status... it goes to being an idiot.
So... this morning, I decide to head to my local coffee shop and do some work; routine for me if I'm not traveling. I decided I didn't need the laptop, the Ipad will do. Oh.. also on the way out I'll throw out this old frame I had. So, I grabbed everything and walked out to my parking lot... see where this is going? I threw out the frame in the trash bin and put the IPad in my car... headed up to the shop. There, I ran in to a friend and we got to catching up, next thing I know it's a couple hours later. OK, now go to my car to get my IPad- er.... What is this frame doing here? I THROUGH MY IPAD OUT AND PUT THE FRAME IN MY CAR!!!!!! Ok... don't panic Paul... just go home and pull the IPad out of the trash.... .... ....... It had been emptied.  I AM SUCH A DORKLEHEAD  ::Only me... these things only happen to me. |

You're not alone, Paul.
I've done dumber things than that, like locking myself out of my apartment on the 4th of July. Then I tried to climb up to my balcony and when couldn't quite get there, I jumped and injured my back and my hips. My shoulders hurt, too, from the strain. After that I had to sit out in the heat in my pajamas for an hour, while waiting for a maintenance man to show up. Thankfully, a neighbor let me use her phone, or it could have been worse. Not quite as expensive as throwing away an iPad, but pretty stupid, nonetheless.
