A Gambling Wager on Life Itself

Looks like the Vegas bookies have already established odds on OJ's release following his upcoming parole hearing scheduled for later this month. If he is released prior to December 31st, a $300 wager nets $100 and in the event he gets paroled after 2017, $250 will be paid out on a $100 bet. So it appears the betting odds are in his favor that following this July parole hearing, OJ will be a free man again. Wondering how many people in the outside world are actually gambling on such an event.

He will also have $2.7M coming to him from his NFL retirement pension which was withheld during his incarceration ($20,000 per month X 9 years) and remuneration from these funds is legally exempt from any civil claims against him.

Hopefully the guy will keep a lower profile and stay out of trouble upon his release. The media and entertainment industry will probably have a field day with this one as there's big money to be made not only pertaining to his eventual release but by dredging up the past as well. The bookies have even established odds on an OJ 'tell-all' book being released in 2018 (-210/+180).

I don't have any GTG's or take deposits...think that is someone else.

I'm going to write the parole office and suggest he half way house with you.

You two are perfect together.

There's 5/1 on this being locked and at one time I laid 5000 to win 100 you'd get infraction points, worst bet if my life but I won so I won that have a start on my WG Daytona Oysterflex

Now the interesting bet is you being banned.. 100.00 to win .50 cents if I was you guys I'd wouldn't touch that one odds very bad but it'll happen

I never should've jump into this thread lol

This will not last another five posts, if that long. This guy is a criminal, not a celebrity unless of course you gravitate towards that kind of person.

After literally getting away with murder (twice), you'd think he'd have kept his head down and retired somewhere. He could have bought a secured compound in the Philippines or Thailand... He even could have lived here in HK. Definitely not a reasonable or stable man.

If paroled, I wonder if he would have to stay in the Las Vegas are as a condition of his release? Maybe he could bunk with Mike Tyson. Mike has a very nice place not far from me.

ESPN is actually going to be televising OJ's parole hearing on Thursday, 7-20 @ 1PM ET so it looks like even the paid advertisers are getting in on the action.

The crass commercialization of celebrity crime and punishment has now sunk to an all-time low. What's next?
