Trade 16710 (2005 GMT) for 1675 (1968 GMT)?

Hi all, would you trade a box only PEPSI 16710 GMT MASTER II, 2005 (D-Serial) for a box only 1968 PEPSI GMT MASTER model #1675? Everything is original except the bracelet. He says the dial doesn't have patina. Is this possible being so old on a Tritium dial?? I should be receiving pictures of the actual watch early next week in which I will post. Any feedback you can provide would be helpful. Thanks TRF!

Personally I wouldn't let a 2005 GMT Pepsi go anywhere.... hang on to it and if you can add the older one.

TBH I'd be perfectly happy with the 2005 GMT - what a watch!!!

I have both 1675 and 16710. If you ask me, I won't let go the 16710, I can wear the 16710 anytime in the water without worry, that's big plus for me since I have active life styles

Even though the 1675 has more of the good stuff like larger insert area that pops more and plexi glass that brings soul and large plots with no WG surrounds - I would have taken the 16710, simply because it's no problem should you need original watch parts in the (near) future. A 1968 model will be hard(er) to source parts you want to it.

I would keep the 16710..better water resistance and it has LUME.

You guys are great!! Thank you for the quick responses. I just don't see many old GMT's, and didn't know if this is something I shouldn't pass up. I love my 16710, and also have all the inserts. I'll be keeping this one, thank you :)

I'm a bit of a flipper, but my new 16710 will be going nowhere.
Please post some photos of it, I'm a huge 16710 fan now.

1675 GMT without a bracelet (?)

If both seller and buyer want this trade to happen
I would ask $800 your way for the GMT 16710
against his head only GMT 1675 which I value $4800

Both these watches are hot and their prices climb faster than Subs
with the exception of the anniversary 16610LV

Thanks Nairn. I don't wear my watches to bed like others, but it's the first thing I put on when I roll out of bed. I miss it after 6 hours of sleep!

I could never wear a watch in bed. I'd feel too restricted if that makes sense and it would annoy me.

Keep the 16710 ... I have the same also a D serial. The 1675 is very nice maybe save up and add it down the road would be a good idea.

I have a 16710 and 1675/3. If I could keep only one, I'd keep the 4 digit vintage...

If well serviced it's robust and water resistant. It's unique, rare and not easily replaced
