Well, I'm married so hanging around a place like hooters with a bunch of drunk assholes isn't really my thing.

Whoah.

I haven't been there in over 10 years.

But slow your roll man. That sounds awful judgemental.

Fwiw, my wife keeps suggesting we go. Apparently they have exceptional wings.

X2. Nothing but a "gimmick" restaurant. And certainly not a place to visit if you have a wife and kids IMO.

LOL +1 wow. Their food isn't great but when done correctly it's not bad either. Anyway everyone should relax. That is all.

Wow, talk about putting people into boxes.

Haven't been into a Hooters in a dozen years, but lumping everyone into 'drunken assholes'--really?

Have a feeling most visiting Hooter's might be married also.

Wings are decent, but, here in Buffalo we have a lot of great wing places. Get them "naked" (iirc that's what they call them), It's w/o their batter. Their Buffalo chicken sandwich was really really good.

The wife and I always look around for a decent place for good food to refer our friends to.

We ate at Hooters a couple of times to try different menu items and neither time could we say that the food was worth a referral.

We met some friends at a tilted kilt not too long ago.

The food was mediocre at best.

And I had to be super careful not to let my wife catch me staring. That would have been bad.

I'm married but wouldn't check the drunken asshole box, at least not by own account. I'm not a regular by any means but do occasionally visit a Hooters. As much as I travel, sometimes even a Hooters is a welcome sight after two or three weeks in foreign countries eating local cuisine. Yeah, the food is meh but some wings and a cold beer can hit the spot. More than drunken assholes, I have observed a lot of families, especially those with young boys celebrating teen birthdays having a fun meal and a little fun taking pictures with the ladies. No harm done.

It's always sad to see people lose there jobs due to a closing. I hope the company tries to help the employees. I've never eaten there..

Same store sales is down across the industry. Doesn't mean all establishments are down. Keep in mind mcdonalds is replacing workers with keyosks to offset costs and hedge against their decreasing sss.

Hooters is getting their butt handed to them by twin peaks and millennial diners who don't care about crappy wings and t and a.

I would never go there with family. Its a trap.

You look, you die. You don't look, you lose the reason to be there. :D
