So what else do you guys collect besides watches?
I used to collect sports cars but they took up too much room and time, now I collect vintage computers from the 1960's to 1970's like PDP-8, Sol-20, Altair, Scelbi and Apple-1.
I also collect vintage HP calculators and Bang-Olufsen stereo equipment. I'm pretty sure there are other things I collect but don't admit to myself. I do try to avoid becoming an active hoarder of junk, I'm one of those people where everything has got to be perfect or I have to restore it. So that limits a lot of stuff for me to buy in my collecting hobbies. So what do you guys collect besides watches? Cheers, Corey |

Lego. Keep the sets unopened; Star Wars and other licensed theme sets, such as Batman, etc.

Records. I like travel books and vodka as well, and I bring one home every once in a while when I travel.

I collect watches and shoes. I also have a few mechanical keyboards. Does that count as a collection?

I have a small collection of antique telechron clocks, all pre 1940. I was thinking about putting a presentation on here showing them.

I have interests in particular outdoor pursuits. Out of respect for the forum rules, I will leave it at that. I have discovered that a lot of folks who enjoy watches also enjoy other intricate machines.

Hmm. I guess fine leather shoes would qualify - as evidenced by my recent posts in the dress shoe thread in this section of TRF.
Used to collect vintage & "modern" fountain pens - not so much any more. I supposed watch *straps* are too close to watches? I do have a slew of NATOS i use only on occasion. Far too many custom straps for my Panerai 312. Last year, I got into Japanese Denim. You know, heavy-weight, hand-dyed selvedge jeans from companies like Pure Blue Japan, Momotaro and the like. Hard to look at Levis the same way when you see / feel the disparity in quality. Sad for the good old USA. I've also been the instigator on accumulating Lego mini-figures - "for my kid." |

I like bikes (not motorcycles.) Have a couple of frames laying around, and lots of spare parts as I keep swapping them around. I also have a coin/banknote collection that I've been amassing since I was 2 years old.

Toys from my childhood era, especially ones I've only seen in catalogues or magazine ads & they never made it to my country.
Toys from my childhood era that I've owned/played with but have since been broken/lost/stolen/givenaway. Pens & stationery. Odd interesting gizmos. Musical instruments (& I don't play). Generally stuff that has no real purpose... other than sit there look cool & gather dust. I hoard Lego who doesn't love overpriced plastic blocks. Who collects watches anyway? They're all wearable so they're like my wardrobe, just because there's a dozen shirts hanging there doesn't mean I collect them |

Shoes/clothes, vintage sunglasses, Scotty Cameron putters, gold coins.
I think I have a couple vintage HP calculators. PM me and I'll send them to you.

Silver coins. I have almost a complete set of Morgan's. Crazy 1895 tho.. like 12k made so it'll take a miracle. I like the Silver Eagles. I like all Silver, now that I'm basically out of stock market I need silver to shoot up, crude oil and natural gas to go ballistic. Oil at 175-200 per barrel would make me very happy 😱

I'm not really a "collector" of anything. Recently I've been trying to trim my watch collection down to 2 pieces that I'll actually wear.
In the past I did collect precious metal and a few other things, but those collections have been sold |
