GMT2 Date Change Question

So... I tried searching and couldn’t find an answer.. When setting the date on my BLNR it would change dates when I advance the hour hand pass 11pm instead of 12pm.. It only does it if my minute hand is past 30.. if the minute hand is before 30 it will change dates after I pass 12pm. Is this normal?

Sure..

The minute hand is in the same gear-train as the other hands. When the minute hand is more than halfway around, the hour hand is already poised for the next hour.
