Ceramic vs carbotech
Would you rather own full ceramic (case and bracelet) Pam 438?
Ceramic Pam 441? Or Carbotech Pam 661? My birthday is end of November and I am already planning a gift for 2018 lol. Just bought a 511 so no more watch for a year as per an agreement with the wifey ! Anyway, I am leaning towards those three but am a bit concerned on the versatility of a full black watch. I really like the "Tuttonero" but wonder in the long run if the black on black, on black, might be too much with not enough pop and contrast. After all I am used to SS the most. So which one and why? Or is it better to stick with titanium and steel? Currently I only have a Pam 511 that I will NEVER sell as I am at last REALLY content with this one. My goal is to have a two watch collection. Both have theirs pros and cons. Ceramic will never scratch, but can break. Carbotech wont shatter but can scratch and can’t be fixed. I’d maybe look at a sub or a radiomir since you already have the 511

Had an AP Diver in carbon. It felt like a $8 plastic toy. I’d buy Carbotech

I am trying to figure out because I don't want to have buyers remorse if I get the carbotech. After all it is also carbon, albeit with a different technology. I really like how you can see the different layers almost like some sort of swirls. Sent from my A1601 using Tapatalk |

Personally I don't like the 661's carbon patters. The 616 pattern look way better but that's just my opinion
As for the 438 and 441 the difference is the bracelet and the blacked out movement on the back of the 438. If you are willing to pay more for a bracelet then go for the 438. The black on black look can easily be changed with strap combo. Personally I love the blacked out movement of the 438 however I love my money more and won't pay the premium that comes with the bracelet so I would go with the 441 if I was choosing between it or the 438 I have a 422 and I keep eyeing the 577 |

Thanks for your insight. I still have a year before making a decision but will have to see them in flesh. Difficult to judge with pictures only Sent from my A1601 using Tapatalk |
