The other day, there was a thread about the New M Daytonas having the new GMT IIc clasp, pictures and everything. A couple Z owners like myself talked about upgrading to the new bracelet. I believe the newer clasp with the upright C shaped lock has just come out in the V, not M series.

The M series has a round button shaped lock.

My V serial SS Daytona does not have the new clasp.

Maybe this has to do with the inventory of V series daytonas with the older clasp that rolex has

Yes, Sharo also bought a early V series without the new clasp - http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ytona+v+series.

Hence, I believe it came later with the current V series, not the previous M series

It will vary on stock and distribution, also if you want the updated claps simply order it from an AD.

I called Rolex sales department here in New York in regards to that. The bracelet is not available in the USA and won't be for sometime.
