1958 ROLEX 6542 GMT Bakelite "Pussy Galore"

Caliber: 1036 Automatic / GMT / Date

Bracelet: Riveted Oyster expansion, stainless steel. 6636 end-links, later clasp (1/70) completely restored and all internal springs replaced.

Dial: Refinished, superb quality.

Bezel: Bakelte, flaked away in some areas.

The first example of the ROLEX GMT, the 6542. Made famous by the 1965 Bond movie "Goldfinger" a 6542 was worn by Pussy Galore, Goldfinger's pilot and Bonds love interest. It was one of the first times a woman wore a mans watch so conspicuously in a film.
