I love the EH Taylor. There was a lot of Small Batch this year so it was easier to get. The Four Grain was incredible.

Here are some more of my small collection. I'm having serious bourbon envy over thedak's background of his photos. Also, I have the bunker as well where I keep extras. Right now I'm stashing all the Weller I can put away.

If you’re after ones with greater character and a mild peat presence, then you’ll want any of the dated bottles. The young blends with no age noted typically are what could be considered introductory-course bottles.

My favorites are the 12 and 17 year Hibikis & you can never go wrong with the 18+ from any of the big brands. The new Mizunara Cask editions are worth grabbing now if you can find them.

I'm not a huge fan of peatiness. But I'll drink then if I find some complexity. I'll give your suggestions a try. I get excited trying new whiskys. :)

This whiskey just screams to be drunk next to a fireplace while watching the snow fall outside. Too bad it’s too damn cold to even snow up here.

I can not believe there are 1945 commentators who have answered this post. I will be very old? Actually, I do not understand it.
