In December of 2009, I registered here to ask for advice before buying a 16600 Sea-Dweller. I’ve been more and less active over the last 8 years, but have really appreciated all that TRF is.
I’ve learned a bunch, had a lot of fun, been challenged, spent loads of money, and “met” a bunch of great people who share a number of interests. I apologize to those I’ve offended with ill-considered remarks. I’m grateful to those who’ve shared insight, opinions, and helped me grow in this hobby along the way. Thanks to everyone who contributes and makes TRF all it continues to be. |

congrats, i joined a few years later for identical reasons and have been on and off the forum since. I spend more time on Purists these days as i got fed up with some of the nonsense posts on here. A lot of the good guys also seem to post less these days. That said its served a purpose and I'm going for lucky 888 before bowing out as I genuinely am finally done.
