Went with the Romans and couldn't be happier. The Romans fill up the dial better and the way the light reflects off of them just makes the whole thing sing. Go with what you like, but if you're undecided, go Romans.

I’ve always loved a DD with Romans. If ever I were to get one I’d def opt for a Roman dial. They’re just so classy in my opinion

Although biased, I'm a big enthusiast of the 60th anniversary green dial DD. However, if your heart is set on the yg, go for it!

Not to highjack the thread, but does anyone know how much a gold screw for the rg DD's bracelet costs?

I am also in the market for a DD 40 this year and I have already decided that it will have diamond baguettes. Have still to decide if WG silver dial and diamonds or YG champagne dial and diamonds. I haven't thought of diamonds until now but this baguette cut style on a DD 40 is great looking.

So my advice is to choose the diamond version!

I prefer non-diamonds but make sure you buy the right watch, not the deal.

You have been offered a great deal on a 228238 with the diamond baton markers, it is a very nice time-piece. I would go with that one.
