Such a gorgeous dial! I wonder, did anyone ever try this dial with the small red chrono hands? If this dial was installed in a 116519, what would be the best colour strap?

Have seen it in real life. The dial is beautiful, great I'd say. The problem is that non ceramic Daytonas tend to wear a little bit small on the wrist. So it is a heavy watch but with a small wrist presence. A little bit awkward for me at least, that is why I've chosen the WG Oysterflex Daytona, because of the ceramic bezel that gives a larger wrist presence. If they'll bring this combo with ceramic bezel it will be a superb watch overall.

Gotta say, I like the fact that it wears a bit small. I really don't feel like I need to draw even more attention to a PM watch. And hopefully the smaller size will minimize the dents and scratches to the bezel. I am a klutz sometimes.

Each of us has a different taste that's for sure. I personally have started to like the Daytona after Rolex introduced the ceramic bezel. The Platona was a little bit out of family budget when it was launched and then when the SS version was launched I immediately wanted one. When in 2017 they've presented the Oysterflex versions with ceramic bezel I was in love and this year I've already bought the big brother in WG and in a month time I'll be adding the SS Ceramic finally. So, I can say that I am a fan of the ceramic Daytona.

I was thinking of the new Oysterflex Daytona 116519 with this new dial, ceramic bezel and a white Oysterflex strap. That will be rock solid for Basel 2018!

There was one in london i tried on. Nice dial but i thought it looked old fashioned versus the ceramic models. Think it sold pretty quick so maybe I am in the minority

So they started producing the watch in 2016? Finding the watch is tough enough.. finding a bargain is almost impossible. At the moment the ceramic hasn’t grown on me.

Yeah...bargains are few and far between. I've seen a couple in the mid 20's, but they didn't last long.

Really nice but I'm holding out for the Ceramic SS White dial model (impossible as it looks at the moment).
