Shipping watches to Hong Kong from US (eBay)
Howdy!
I have a buyer for my black bay on eBay from Hong Kong. The guy seems legit with good feedback but I am fearful of shipping overseas and package loss occurring. Has anyone ever shipped a watch to Hong Kong? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lots of people here ship their gold bracelets for a refurb to HK without known issues. HK is not exactly a backward place

I ship work-related samples back and forth from the US to HK on a fairly regular basis via Fedex and never had an issue. Not higher-value items but important to me.

I've had many watches shipped to me here from all over, and never had a problem. For some reason, though, USPS usually takes forever to put the package onto a plane. UK to HK can be as fast as four days by regular mail. US to HK can take a month.

I was having quite a bit coming up missing when shipping international, I had a strong suspicion that it was disappearing on the domestic side. It would tract to Chicago, then never show up over seas.
Since eBay has implemented global shipping I have not had a problem. Full disclosure, I have not mailed expensive items. |

I’ve bought several watches from private sellers in the USA and had them shipped to HK using ParcelPro- I prepared the shipping label and sent it to the seller, who then picked and shipped the items. Zero issues
HK is likely an easier place to ship watches to than many counties, given that it is a free port, so there are no VAT/ import duty issues to deal with |
