Expensive service no good
A friend was having trouble with his Submariner stopping at random. He had had the watch from new and decided it needed a service. It was sent away to Rolex at a cost of £520 and was away for 3 months. When he got it back it was all shiny like a new watch but was still stopping. It has been returned to Rolex with no promise of a quick turn around that's not what I call a "good service".

For sure not good service. The turnaround time is unacceptable even if they had repaired if right the first time.

Shocking service for the price!
If that was at RSC in Sevenoaks it's possibly worth giving the Service Manager a call to see what's going on: 01732 752400 Hope that your friend gets it sorted soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

When a company starts relying on its name alone, and neglects the product, it is heading for trouble.

I had a similar issue with my wife's Tudor when the service was done by RSC. The watch exhibited exactly the same symptom on return as when sent in. They felt it was due to post service damage although it definitely was not. I wasn't impressed. Cost for the service was $1500 including replacement dial, hands, and crystal..

He should wind it once in a while..
If you are not active enough your watch will stop on your wrist.

Make sure to put it on the wrist that gets the most action. We are talking about a male, correct?

We’ve been reading more and more posts in bad service offered by RSC!! At first I thought it’s some picky or OCD people but looks like it’s becoming a trend!!
