A special edition Montres de Aeronef watch released 4-5 years back using the legendary 5011K handwound movement.

Story goes that this chronometer movement was the most accurate EVER tested by the observatory in Nauchatel until the 60’s when this annual competition used to run. And this movement was thought to be lost during the quartz crisis.
Until one day, Zenith discovered a box of 400-odd movements in 2009-2010 and released a special limited edition.

Based on the serial numbers on the COSC certificates (checked with a couple of other WUS, Watchprosite forum members) of old deck chronometers with this movement, the movements were indeed 40-50 year old movements!!

I started my collection in the ninety's with a Breitling Chronomat Chronograph after owning a couple of Seiko's for daily use. 20 years later it was about time to continue my passion for the watch.
Followers were : TAG Caliber 16 Link, , Breitling Chronomat Chronograph Special Edition "Blue Impulse", TAG Cal.5 Link, TAG Aquaracer Cal.5, , Breitling B1, Breitlling B2, TAG Monaco Special Edition, Omega Seamaster Profesional.
Then it was time for Rolex : 2016 Datejust II 41 Blue dial, 2017 GMT Master II BLNR and recently the Hulk.
