Rose Gold Two Tone conundrum

Turning 60 in the fall and planning on semi retiring my 40 year old SS DJ.

It is currently in for service, and will keep it around for doing the real risky stuff.

Narrowed it down to the DJ41 with fluted bezel and Jubilee, or the YM40.

Both in RG Two Tone and Chocolate Dial

70:30 in favour of the YM with a minor concern that it may look goofy.

I have no idea what size my wrist is and I have sailed all my life.

Having worn a SS DJ 36 all my adult life this is a big departure.

Any thoughts?

Larry

I think the RG TT YM looks great! Change is good! Not goofy at all.

Both are stunning, I think that YM bezel is a little bit too out there for me so I'd take the more conventional DJ41.

Have minor issues with both.

DJ. To bling for a guy with an over worn DJ 36

YM. F**ing crown is steel not gold as every other TT is.

We can't tell you what "goofy" looks like...that's up to you. If you're thinking it may look goofy you may want to take a look at something else.

Is there a reason you're looking at RG TT? Does anything else appeal to you?

You simply must go out and have fun strapping on a Blancpain Fifty Fanthoms Rose Gold on your wrist as the watch has pedigree that predates even the Rolex Submariner. I've tried it on for size at the Blancpain boutique, 45 x 15 with real gold heft but it's such a gorgeous and handsome watch. Did you know that there are 2 versions of the Rose Gold FF ? Highly polished and satin finished ? Pre owned is the way to go and if you decide to flip it, seriously you won't lose any money or sleep
