No Sopranos this week??? WTF?

Was this scheduled or did they just not shoot an episode and this coming Sunday's is the finale? They have a LOT of loose ends to tie up, if the last episode is only an hour. Maybe they'll start to do feature movies, like they did with Star Trek.

It was totally on purpose. They have done this in the past. My idea is because this past weekend was a holoday weekend here in the states, not as many people would watch. HBO showed the last three epsidoes this past week.

The season finalie airs this Sunday, June 4th at 9:00pm EST. Check local listings. BTW, there are only eight new episodes for next season, the last

Mixed emotions on this one,
I feel this last season has been the weakest of all seasons so far.
Maybe it was the Looooonnnnngggg break from last season to this one, or the hype has killed it.
I want Adrian to show up, as leader of the Vipers, bring along the Russians from the snow episode for back up, and start whacking people. Then the final scene will be Tonys pool , ducks everywhere, with the Psychiatrist sitting in a lawn chair talking to AJ.

Now THAT would be a great way to end the season

Hey, I read in the paper yesterday that although this coming weekend's show is the last, it's not the finale. Apparently there are eight more shows after this one, that they have yet to shoot. WTF? They announced that Imperioli and the guy who plays Johnny Sack signed on for the final eight shows. No word on Walnuts or Sil... speculation was they may hold out for more money (Gandolfini gets $1 mill a show) but if they do, they could just get 'whacked early' and written out altogether.

Here I was all excited about it concluding totally this weekend.

Not yet. I was under the impression that whoever is left alive will return for the last eight shows next year. Being as on the ball as you are Johnny, I thought you would've already known about it.
