Waiting list BLNR new York
Hi all,
Is it possible to get a spot on the waitinglist at a dealer in NY? And anybody who knows for how long time it takes? |

Why don't you ask them at the Dealer. If you're from Denmark and you have never visited NYC, then it should be interesting to see your responses for a BLNR.
Is it possible for me to get on a waiting list for a Daytona in Denmark? |

Every dealer is different. Many give priority to repeat customers. But sometimes you can get lucky and the call comes through early. Ya never know. Many people put their names on lists at multiple ADs.

Doubt anyone knows. No AD can predict how many watches they will be receiving and when. The have absolutely zero idea. And those waitlists? They exist for the few friends and VIP customers of the ADs only. After those, they will sell to whomever steps first on the store with cash.

Yes, you should be able to get on the list in DK.
Maybe they want you to meet up in person. The list is long in DK and a lot more expensive |

I feel like you can find a BLNR in NYC BNIB in many many places outside of an AD.
Look to the Diamond District. There are deals to be had. |

You can buy whatever you want there if you’re willing to pay what they ask. Everything that is MIA at ADs is there. Nautilus 5711, blue 15400st, blue 15202st, Daytona C white and black, SD43, Hulk, BLNR. You can always haggle a little bit but in this current environment I wouldn’t expect more than $300-400 discount on a popular Rolex model.

Ok, thx.
Would prefer to buy from AD. I am also looking at UK, I do not know if it is possible in London to find an AD with a short waiting list |

One London based AD I frequent has not received a BLNR since October 2017. This being a high volume AD. In fact the only hot SS they have had in this year was a SS SkyD blue dial.
They don’t seem overly concerned as their main trade is primarily PM. The DJ41 is also selling well. AD also says that Tudor has seen a nice rise in sales.

Your best bet may be looking at an AD in upstate New York instead of the City. Surprised that the lists are so long in Denmark. NYC is tough even if you spend a lot at the AD already. I'd be interested if you learn anything different though. Good luck

Forget about getting one from a NYC AD if you are not a big time spender or know the manager personally or are some kind of "celebrity"/have high society status. This is probably one of the worst places in the world to try and buy from an AD (London being the other).
