Seiko Boutique Miami

Hi All,
I am in the market for a specific GS model and as I need to go to Miami this week I emailed the local Seiko boutique (twice on their email, once on their contact plaftorm) re a quote on the price and the availibilty.
It's been 5 days and have not received any feedback.
Is that a common thing? Normally if I contact any dealer I get an answer in a heartbeat.

Try giving them a quick call instead then.
I can’t see when Joe was last on WUS, so sending him a PM there could be a hit and miss affair.
Short of that, contact Timless, and Toppers, who if they have it, can send it to wherever you’re staying, and you won’t have local sales tax to pay either.

Which model? I would not limit myself to a boutique in miami as there are many dealers in the US who would overnight to you (in miami) and likely discount as well.

I am surprised. I have been there and they were happy to help me. I have called them as well, very attentive. I even bought a MM300 from them. Give them a call!

Try Timeless Luxury in Frisco, TX. They are the largest volume dealer in the US. Really great to deal with too.

My limited Seiko boutique experience is similar, just not Miami. Beyond splitting GS off maybe Seiko has to also get the quality of their customer service up to par with other luxury watch brands. My Rolex AD may not have product as I want it, but they are really responsive in terms of contact and requests.

Hi Guys,
Turns out it was just some freakish technical failure. i did not get the answers, they are not in my junk folder but Seiko also got only part of my emails. Strange since I use Yahoo for my private conversations and so far never experienced anything like this.
Anyways, they got back to me and received a fairly good quote. I will definitely try to drop by and take a look at the watch.

I believe, technically, there is only one GS boutique in the U.S., in Beverly Hills. The other boutiques are Seiko, which happen to carry some GS.

All,

The story is the following: after the technical failures in our communication I went to see the Seiko Boutique in Miami and met Joe and his colleague, both super nice guys. I was hesitant as the price was not better than I could have gotten back home but I definitely needed some instant gratification and the goodies thrown in helped as well to convince me. :-)
As usual the deal did not go well at first. I forgot about my daily purchase limit but for some reason the bank did transfer the money up to the limit and did not let me pay for the rest. Never heard of anything like this. Normally, if you pass yur limit they simply deny the purchase. I needed a good 20 minutes overseas call to resolve the problem but at the end I got what I wanted.
The GS is superb and I love it. I highly recommend Joe and the Miami Boutique, they are passionate about watches especially Seikos, patient and super knowledgeable.
