I have the 42mm space gray GPS and Cellular model with aluminum case and Gorilla Glass. I considered paying the extra few hundred dollars for the stainless steel model with sapphire glass, but I bought it for use while running so weight was a concern.

No real complaints here. Texting on the watch is cumbersome, but it works. Without the cellular connectivity turned on, I can get about two days of battery life with moderate use.

The latest is Series 3.

1. it has 2 versions, one is GPS only and other is GPS + Cellular. You have to decide which one you want. Cellular feature is good as you can read message and make phone call without the iPhone. If the iPhone is always with you, then may consider to get the GPS to save some money.

2. Decide on model. It has 4 models, i.e. Apple Watch, Nike +, Apple Watch Edition, and Hermès. Apple Watch is for average people. Nike + is designed for athletes and young guys. Apple Watch Edition is using the ceramic casing. Hermès is the most expensive, it comes with Hermès dial face and Hermès made leather strip.

3.Decide the case and strap.

Personally, I would suggest to choose the Nike+ version. I found that most of the teens are wearing this.

Thank you for your input. Is it waterproof?
