No more Daytona or AP Royal Oak debate

They simply look GREAT and belong together.

I would definitely say that they do not belong together. One.. the AP, looks like a futuristic version of a watch while the Daytona looks like a classical version of a watch. I would say that they are at opposite ends of the watch spectrum, and that they do not belong together. Perhaps they belong together in the sense of being part of a collection, but they clash like oil and water in my opinion.

Beautiful Fred. I'm not on the AP train yet but I can see the appeal for some. Dashing pair there!

Both beautiful watches, but I really wish that AP didn't have a date window (especially a white date window on a black dial.)

Funny you say the AP is futuristic when it has been updated two times since this classic model.

Both look great on you Fred, and this is clearly your favoured size of watch. If the ROC had white subdials they would be almost the perfect inverse colours of each other.

You make a great argument on why they bleong together in a collection. Variety.

The AP was designed in 1970, 50 years old

Beautiful pair, somehow I still prefer the Daytona. Good thing you can chose both.
Enjoy them in health.

They both belong in any chronograph enthusiast's collection. The 5 must have are: Daytona, AP RO Chrono, Patek 5170, Speedmaster, and AL&S Datograph

Congrats on the awesome pair!

Thanks bud!

Having owned a 5711/1A blue (also a Genta) in the past, I actually prefer the similar styled bracelet seen here on AP 15300 and 26300. Some may feel otherwise but the AP bracelet here is more balanced for me given the slightly more heft and the hand finish is simply stunning. Give AP a try if you have the chance

AP is what Iron Man would wear.
Daytona for Tony Stark.
