Hi, I very much doubt they will be available at all in UK for a very long time, here in the UK we have massive waiting lists for the most basic steel sports pieces, like sub dates. However I think generally speaking, Rolex is much kinder in the US, so fingers crossed for all of you guys. I'm sure you will get yours soon.

Clearly the stickers are still there, but are they holding your warranty card for 12 months? That will answer one of the questions we have been talking about in the new UK AD policy thread.

Wear it in good health
Hi, no they did not retain warranty card; however they are retaining it for everybody else. They have known me for a long time and spend lots with them. as Devil Dog mentioned before, I suppose it is more about relationships now more than ever.

I couldn't agree more, which is why I made it clear to them if they insisted on this policy with me (although I would have bought it anyway).

I am of the view that Rolex AD's are forgetting that not long ago, they desperately needed us customers as they couldn't get rid of their watches quickly enough. Now tables have turned, and demand is very different, I suppose it just goes down to money. Shame really

Thanks for the feedback and exactly what I will remind mine if he doesn't let me leave with the warranty card.

Enjoy your GMT

i look at it this way. If they know and trust you then there is no issue. If you are a random person they dont know this is what they need to do to feel comfortable selling you the watch. Otherwise you probably wouldn't get it at all.

So there are most definitely two groups of customers and i see no issue with the AD putting conditions on someone they dont know as they are still getting them the watch.
