That is what I’m struggling with. I’m not a suit and tie guy but when I do wear them on the odd occasion I feel out of place without a strap watch. I’m considering adding either an entry level ALS Saxonia to option 2 or perhaps a JLC to compensate but trying to keep the cost in check.
The platinum DD speaks to me because it’s relatively rugged while still being considered a “high end” timepiece. Very torn! |

1 by a mile. The ALS blows a platinum DD Out of the water in terms of value. Unless the ice blue dial is worth $30k, a white gold DD looked exactly the same to all non WIS
