Case difference between 116520 vs 116500?

Is the case of the 116500 more "edged" than the 116520? It seems that there is more than just the bezel and dial that is different between the two in house movmt models. I think the 116500 is more like the 16520 in feel but it also seems thinner than either. Is this true or is it just me?
