I rented a Lightspeed from GoCycleMaui.com. They also provide tours with SAG vehicle support.

It does! Our first ascent was in a Jeep w/ the top down and couldn't believe the temp change at the top. Like to froze our keesters off. That was 2004 and I rented a bike and did a handful of rides, including 60 miles around the West Maui mountains.

Loved Maui so much we came back in 2005. My wife & I road over 350 miles while on this visit. I told her if we come back next year I gotta climb that damn volcano.

Trained all year and back to Maui to do some climbing.
