I've got a BB Bucherer edition from a reseller recently. According to him the watch was bought by a customer and sold through him.

But:

1. The box is different from what i saw from the internet- it has a black interior instead of brown leather. And the watch is placed vertically instead of horizontally like what i saw in the internet?
2. Theres no hangtag from Bucherer
3. Theres no Bucherer brochure or anything from Bucherer.

Isn't it weird how the first buyer got the watch and did not get anything that mentions Bucherer on it?

And isn't the watch only available from a Bucherer boutique?

Mine was packaged as follows:

White cardboard sleeve
Brown card box
Black gloss wooden box, lined in brown leather.
Price tag but no "hang-tag"
Receipt was in a Bucherer envelope.

Maybe post up a pic of yours....

I can contribute nothing to your quest for knowledge about the contents of the original purchase, but I can say that is a great watch.

The box has not been consistent and has changed over time. I received the black box as well.

But the difference between the piano finish box and the cardboard box is huge..

Dealers get Rolex and presumably Tudor boxes in several variations. The watch is shipped in a plastic coffin, not the presentation box. So...box can be different, I have no idea if Bucherer has anything named to identify it as one of their limited watches.

I received the box on the left in dec 2017 with my BBBB. Friends received the box on the right with earlier pickup. No right box, any black bay box is correct. There is no Bucherer Box.

I got the one on the left too. But yeah guess it depebds which desler you get it from. Though the piano finish box looks more exclusive.

I can't help with your question, only to advise that it should have been asked before you made your purchase. Does the answer really matter now? Enjoy your watch, don't wear the box.

If you know the watch then you would know its not a display watch readily available for viewing prior to purchase. So theres no way i can know what am i getting before i actually pay for it

I purchased one this week and they only offered the package on the left. Doesn't really bother me as it will just get thrown in a box in the attic. I did get the Bucherer hang tag and in store advertisements along with a Tudor travel pouch.
