What Are “Futures?”
Have you ever wanted to taste Nickel & Nickel Single-Vineyard Napa Cabernets while they are still in barrel? Or have your favorites sold out before you’ve made your selection? Our Futures program is designed just for you. Nickel & Nickel Futures allows guests to sample our single-vineyard Napa Cabernets while they are still in barrel, and reserve favorite wines before they are bottled. Purchasers benefit by reserving the wines they love at current release prices, with the added convenience of receiving them after bottling and without risking a sellout of these limited-production wines upon release.

Nickel & Nickel Futures are available only from the winery for a limited time each year, from April 1 through July 31. We introduce the new vintage at our annual Cabernet Futures Barrel Tasting, held each spring at the winery, where all of the most recent vintage Cabernets are available to taste.

The 2017 vintage celebrates over a decade of presenting futures, and the enthusiasm grows among new and returning guests year after year.

We are heading out there at the end of August. Staying in Napa. But need to figure out some of this list stuff. I just don’t know how to do what. What you get? Etc.

Looking at getting some Dragonfly, Element 28 and Hawkeye Vineyard. Check the tasting notes. I called and had the forms and pricing sent via email today.

Also- PM me if you want to chat about Napa. Best to map a strategy so you get into the places you want to visit.

I will DM you. We are Flynn mg out Sunday the 26th. I have meetings for work the 27/28 but the wife will be free. 29 and 30 are open. We are renting a car and flying into Oakland. The only one that we really wanted to visit was Smith Story Wines but they are 2 hours away. If you are on IG follow Lord Sandwich the golden doodle. Hilarious.
