126715CHNR Lee Perla
If anyone is looking for a new Rose Gold GMT Release from Baselworld...just thought I would post this as I saw one in the showcase at Lee Perla in New Jersey. They are selling for a slight premium on DavidSW's site so I thought I would share the love.
All the best. |

hmmm, I thought you can pretty much always get a full gold watch from Rolex at any given time. Since it can be special ordered, any AD will be able to take a deposit and order it for you and it will come within a month.

Rest of their inventory looked good relatively. What I mean by this is they had inventory to fill their case but nothing out of the ordinary. I have been to Paris, Ibiza, Amsterdam and countless AD's across the NY, NJ area. All the same story no SS sport models and most of them with empty showcases.
Lee Perla looked a bit healthier as they had a Yachtmaster 2, some Air Kings and some Explorers in SS but this isn't too out of the ordinary. I haven't seen a SS sub in a showcase in 6 months. Lea Perla said they have a wait list for the SS black GMT. Hope this helps. All the best. |

I saw one at the Mohegan Sun in CT 3 weeks ago. Great watch. Not my story. Would take a while to get used to the weight of the PM, and the Price point for me would be better used on a new truck. The Rose Gold was amazing. Stunning.

Really want to see one in person. I was able to see the two tone, so I have an idea of what the bezel looks like.
Definitely would wait until the Basel bump dies down, no reason to pay MSRP when you can get it for discount later. |

There was also an GMT LN in the showcase at Foxwoods Rolex, went to gamble a little and came back to buy it and it was gone.

My brother in law passed by there today for me.
This watch is still there for $36,000 MSRP. Tempted but squashed by wife. Yes, I fear her. But she is right, with retirement in 4months and our many planned immediate future travels, other priorities right now than this. But I seriously tried. |
