Transporter 3 & Panerai

Just got back from seeing Transporter 3. Looks like Jason Latham was wearing a Panerai in the first half of the movie. I couldn't tell which model as the movie was fast paced. Has anyone else seen the movie and noticed the PAM?

Best Regards,
Mike

He wear Pannies in all his films.....and they are displayed quite blatantly with long exposed shots of the dial.

He wore a 40mm in the first one, a 196 in the second one. Both of them they had a fake alarm sound on the watch. The watch was real, the alarm was real fake.

As said above, he wears them in all his films, not because he has to but because he's a paneristi, he also likes the chronos and wears them mostly. I think Panerai should be doing a trick here and gifting him the newer models, he's also got a movie coming up with Stallone, so it could be the battle of the paneristi

A little known fact is that in Transporter 3 they had to put a real bomb on his wrist just to stop him sliding back into wearing his PAM, but Statham got round this by wearing it on his left ankle, if you watch the second fight scene you can quite clearly see a PAM 270 on a honey croc strap

I just got back from work overseas on Wed. I went to see the movie yesterday. They are messing up the Transporter movie franchise as far as I can tell. I didn't really care for the fight scenes with the jittery camera a la Bourne. The girl was obnoxious. Statham however remains in fantastic shape. His workout regime must be grueling!

What is the monster watch Frank is wearing in the fishing boat scenes? Is this the Panerai y'all are discussing? Any close-up shots?

Thanks,

Mike
