Watch - AD Availability

Hi all,

I am wondering what watches are most often available on display at your respective ADs. I often see DJs (36s) at mine in the DC area.

Last week mine had DJ41's, Sub Date, SD4K and a few PM models. I was offered a Hulk this week and passed.

I am not far from you in Columbia, but the AD in Columbia Mall has the same... DJs, both 36 and 41, OPs and Presidentials. Even those are in limited numbers. And the majority of their watches and for ladies.

Seas of DJ/TT/PM. I once saw 3 identical platonas displayed at the same AD...but not a single SS sport

Just was at my AD in Schaumburg, IL (suburb of Chicago) and plenty of DJ's in many varieties, a lot of ladies models and one TT Daytona. No Subs at all.

I said no to a hulk as well about a month and a half ago from one of the AD’s I deal with. It’s not that I have no interest for one, I do and would like to have one in the collection one day, but had to plan for the other watches I want first. It was a tough NO, but these days I think you really need to plan ahead with what you want your collection to be. I’m trying to have some discipline but TRF certainly doesn’t help

Which AD is that? SD4K, Sub Date, and Hulk? I gotta visit your AD, those are all hard to find models, especially a Hulk.

Visited local ADs today. DJ's all day long, and no steel sports with the exception of one lonely Milgauss.

Last week mine had a yachmaster, 2 milgauss, air king DJ41, DD36. Two weeks ago they had a SubC and a GmtLn, both sat for a week. I did pass that info along. I did order and get a DJ41 that took 3 weeks to get and just ordered a Blnr, no idea what the story is yet.

DJ and PM pretty much what’s in the case. Now we all know that they also have “the good stuff” in the vault!
