I find the BLRO coloring to be little more than a conceit. I think the Sky D is much more of a watch in so many ways. Frankly go with what appeals to you the most; damn what other would choose. For me the advanced mechanics of the SkyD called to me so much that I was the first to order one in my area. I have little desire for the BLRO as eventually I tired of my 16700 with its changeable inserts; I can't imagine being stuck permanently with the blue/red bezel insert.
