Has anyone bought a vintage Rolex from Maxfield in LA

I was in Maxfield on Melrose today, buying some shoes and I came across a section of their jewelry department where they were selling vintage Rolex's and a few customized ones (think custom dials or tooling on the bracelet/case). There was one nice piece in there and I am thinking of buying but I wanted to get someone's opinion on how the buying experience is and if they are sourcing/verifying the watches correctly.
