Went to a local AD where I didn’t have any relationship just to browse and their case was pretty bare except some Milgaus and YM. I overheard one sales associate speak with the manager about a customer calling and asking if the black Daytona was still available and the manager responding that he thought that customer was interested in another model he showed him. The sales associate then went over to me and said as you can see in the case we don’t have much. So I’m guessing just like many ADs, they are receiving sought after pieces but they never show up in the display and go to preferred clients.

My AD has no SS anymore out on display. They used to at least have explorer IIs, but now even those are gone.

I saw both SS Explorer II in white and black in Tri state area AD. Also a SS Milguass. I know, nothing great but PM me if interested.

Nothing in the windows
But there are much greater supplies in the vault. ;-) However, unless you're a VIP spender or doing a package bundle buy... the average person will never see them (thats unfort the game now and how it works - whether you want to play in that sandbox is up to you) |

I see prices not opening so high when they are first released on Greys. (Subs / GMTs)
Of course the hot pieces like BLNR / SUB LV / BLRO are still in bubble prices. Hope some normalcy returns in 2019/2020. Pertaining to ADs? Still nothing and only OPs / DJs. |

I've visited about 10 ADs in Central London, and 3 just outside of London during the past month and the only sports watches I saw were a couple of Explorers and yachtmasters.
Didn't see one sub or gmt, and that included any TT variants. |

Nothing on display here at the Rolex boutique in SF. Haven't checked the other ADs but they were pretty bare last time I was in. Doesn't mean they don't have some in the back, but I didn't ask.

The more 'offbeat' jurisdictions such as Morocco appear to be more well-stocked - less Rolex-crazed buyers up in North Africa!

They don’t have in the display but in the safe case. I was last week at my official AD looking for Patek Philippe and he came from the back with 3 Submariner, 2 BLRO and 2 BLNR (Not Daytona neither Sky Dweller) and asked my if I was interested in the Submariner (I have the BLNR and BLRO already) and I declined (submariner just became too boring for me and that’s why I sold it) but he told me there is more inventory incoming.
But as always, there are not in the displays but in the safe case. |

I was walking through Soho NYC on Sunday night, and there was a Submariner 114060 sitting in the window at Watches of Switzerland (60 Green St). Didn't go in to see what else they had in stock though.

Not a lot in Dubai either just EXP2, DSSD (not JC). Asked for Sub Date but was told could be up to a month wait.

I was at my AD less than two weeks ago. SS sports models consisted of a black DeepSea. That was it.
My other AD who I contacted by email said she had zero SS sport models in stock and expected nothing until next year. |

Just out of curiosity, I found 390 sub date and 360 nd on Chrono24. Last month, the numbers were higher, 540 sub date.

My local goldsmiths use to have both OP's in black and white but they sold and they have nothing now, not even Milgauss or Explorers. It's just DJ's and one 37mm grey Yachtmaster....

Earlier in Nov my wife and I were in Tokyo. We went to the Boutique in Roppongi. I was surprised how little stock they had in the case. I was looking for a DJ41, they only had 2. Lots of other less desirable DJs, no SS Sport models. This is a Boutique. We didn't have time to watch shop but calling other ADs there were few to no DJ41s around. But.. if I did find one, I was surprised that with the tax removed and the exchange rate, the price was pretty good. If I can find one next time I go back it will be a good deal.
Here is Houston I visited 2 ADs this weekend. DJ41's are in very short supply. I found 3 in total of less desirable configurations. I did see one EXP I. Several TT's and PM models. But they all said I could get the watch I wanted in a reasonable amount of time.... 10 weeks to 6 months was the range. One AD wanted 50% up front. At Narita, the Seiko shop was fully stocked. I looked at a snowflake and liked it. I got a decent discount and a favorable exchange rate, but I decided the keep my powder dry for the DJ41. |
