Not the article says that mechanical watches are more realiable that gps in some hard enviroments. Read the book not the title to make an opinion.

And note that the triplock is standard across common 5 and 6 digit models and rated to >500 Bar.

I disagreed, I can go to internet and found a lot of 5 digits failures but you would found is a minimun from the big mass of watches rolex made of high quality (5 and 6 of course).
