It’s arrived!

Hi guys,

I’ve been swooning over this one since it was announced at Basel this year. Never understood the interest in this brand before but once I tried it on at my AD Basel event in September I just knew I had to have it!

The proportions are perfect. 39mm, slim lugs, raised crystal, gilt dial, and 70 hour power reserve. I love the vintage vibe with a modern twist and the fact that the aluminum bezel will pick up a few dings and scratches along the way. Very different to my BLNR and LVC. You’d be hard pressed to find something with as much value for money at this price point. Tudor have nailed it with this one!

Now onto my AD experience this time around... Disappointing. I’ve bought several stainless steel sports Rolex from them over the last few years with no problem and all within an excellent timeframe. I’ve also referred a few friends who have spent a fair bit too. When this piece was announced I called them on the day and was told that I was the first on the list. Apparently, more people were interested in the Tudor Pepsi. Kept in touch with them a few times and was assured I’d get one soon. Then last week, they told me they’d only received one since launch and that I was third on the list! Anyway, I couldn’t be bothered waiting anymore and so called a few AD’s and managed to pick one up in a few hours! In hindsight I could have waited but can’t be bothered playing these games. Watching this Rolex stainless steel sports madness is very amusing, thankfully I doubt I’ll be buying another.... If it continues, I’ll be selling mine for a DD40 or WG GMT!

Will do mate... Feels so different to the BLNR and LVC. So light you don’t know it’s there!

I haven't been a big fan of the new Tudors (I had a Tiger Chrono many, many years ago), but I will say I love this one! I didn't realize they were 39mm, I thought all the new ones were 41mm (or something like that).

Congrats!

Congratulations on your new Tudor! I'm exited to hear what else they will bring out in the 39mm range next year. The Tudor BB Fifty-Eight is a winner.

See it in person and try it on if possible... you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

Agreed... I have a feeling there may be a few different dial variations coming in the near future.

Dee, I tried one on last week, and I preferred this to the Tudor GMT. It is extremely comfortable and it looks like a proper tool watch.

Well done on getting one. Looks at home in your collection.
