Stollenprüfung 2018

I've got pictures from the Stollenprüfung. Stollen were judged by a jury. Spectators could try again free of charge.

Still my second favourite Christmas market - Dresden. All the Stollen samples also make it the tastiest too.

Looking forward to visiting some again this year.

Stollen cake!
In the U.K. it’s been on the market now for about month and I really like it!
In fact, near enough every day after my evening meal I have a slice together with a glass of Madeira wine in front of the TV.
For me it’s all a perfect combination until Christmas Day for tea when the Wife’s Christmas Cake is cut followed by next day, in the U.K. we call Boxing Day, when her Dundee Cake is cut!
No wonder I’m for getting a bit tubby this time of year!
But I do like Stollen! Enjoy!

During the Christmas season there are a lot of pastries here, such as Lebkuchen, Stollen, Pfeffernüsse, cookies, Dominosteine, etc..
