testing pics of my Sub
can anyone figure out why i would have picked a silver and black watch? no themes here! I just got a new watch, and a new camera, and a new photo editing program, still trying to figure out the latter two, and using the first as an excuse to do so. I just have to figure out how to get it to focus better, and why most of my pics come out really yellow (its a digital camera, so all should be automatic, it just doesnt seem to be working that well for me. even the first one was really yellow, but i seem to have got that one fixed ok). anyway, enjoy the best you can.

If you're using a digital camera, indoors, it looks like you have not adjusted the white balance to cope with the tungsten filaments used in most domestic light bulbs. Check your camera manual for White Balance adjustment and you should get less yellow results.
Your second shot also has a lot of "noise" evident, which means that the ISO was set high. I would recommend using a low ISO (80 -100) but placing the camera on a tripod so you can have a long exposure but still retain the quality. Good luck!

Most little point and shoot digicams have "macro" buttons. Make sure that's turned on when you're trying to focus on the watch, especially as you're getting closer to it.
