Major GMT issues

I have GMT issues. I think I should go talk to someone about it.

Just felt like sharing instead of posting an “Is it safe” thread ;)

Looks like you need a two-tone 116713.

That GS Spring Drive is the standout piece for me. What other GMT watch gives you 24hr numbers on the rehaut and on the rotating bezel, so you can glance at three time zones at once (one local and 2x24), then rotate to a fourth, and a luminous bezel?

I am loving it! It is so comfy. The dial is amazing. It goes from black to brown to red to brown to cranberry depending on the light. The bezel lume is sweet. It wears so much smaller than its paper dimensions. Def does not wear like a 14mm thick watch. I have really grown to appreciate GS and seiko after winning a GS quartz at a raffle.

Boy, that’s hard to answer. In find them all so cool from my $100 Costco Wenger to my 16710 to my BLNR. That’s why I picked them up!

Yes and yes. This thing is so sweet for all of those reasons. It has also proven to be one of the most accurate pieces I’ve own that isn’t a quartz or auto-syncing (ala g-shock). I actually looked at it under a 10x loop prior to buying. The finishing details even down to top he hour markers were just amazing. I have to say, I have really fallen in love with GS after acquiring a 9F quartz and now this spring drive GMT. I’m seriously considering flipping one of my Rolex for the SBGA387. I got to see it in person and the photos do not do that dial any justice. Looks way better in person.

I have, and posted a thread or two asking the forums opinion in the past. In the end, I prefer variety over PM or one single bad a$$ piece. There’s so much cool stuff out there.

Would you consider flipping a few for a SS SkyD ? I think a black one could be that SS bad a$$ piece.

Asked and answered. I have thought about it, and in the end no. I’d get bored with one I think. I like the collection I have and prefer a variety. If anything, I’d add a skyD @ msrp not secondary prices. I only paid over for my blnr, because at the time, it was only a few hundred over AD price with tax.

Why own one bas a$$ piece when u can own many bad a$$ pieces that cost less but have the same emotional impact? Like I mentioned, I like my $100 Costco wenger as much as my Luminox as my blnr. I buy and wear for me.

Some more detail - Flipping a few (not all) pieces for a SS SkyD at retail. You would have variety and still have one big boy piece to go along with the overall GMT theme.

Awesome collection! I’m curious, if you had to chose between your BLNR or 5 digit coke?
