DSW Removed all BLNR from site

So with all these rumors about Rolex discontinuing BLNR and now DSW removed all their stock you guys think he might know something or just betting that it gets discontinued then list it back up at a much higher premium? I think I checked within the last 2 weeks or so that he had 3-4 pieces for sale.

Could be, or might have sold them all based on market speculation

I haven’t looked as his site lately, but I’m guessing that he removed them because he sold them.

I hardly believe David is removing listings to gamble on the blnr getting discontinued. He surely just sold them.

I remember his prices for the BLNR was around $10-$10.8k range but it kept on going up and up and before news broke it was around same price as LVc $12-$12.9k and it sat there for a while and now it’s all gone.

Don’t think they sold. He probably removed them to see where the market goes. Smart. He doesn’t need to sell a watch so he is in the perfect situation to wait and see

I looked at this site day yesterday or the day before and he had about three for sale.

Now, you say that he has none, so that would suggest that he sold them.

Or, maybe he socked them away.

Who knows in this market?

This is totally ridiculous.

I heard Rolex discontinued all there SS sports models, just check out a AD. I’m glad I like models that are not trendy and not so popular :)

He is a very respected seller. He could sell 4 Batmans in an hour. I don’t think he took them off to hold onto them to speculate.

This topic, along with speculation on Rolex supply, resale prices is making me spend less time here and more on the tech and vintage pages where people are more inclined to discuss the watches attributes rather then the watch as a commodity and a conspiracy theory.

My realtor, great woman, found my current property, she knows I'm into watches and just called me with questions because 5 families reached out to her just last night looking for homes in the $1.2M to $1.5M range in my township saying that they have a Batman Rolex and can pay cash.

It's not that crazy to think he sold two $12,000 watches on the same day that rumors were circling that they would be continued.

Why don't you call/email him and tell him you're looking for one and have a $12,000 budget? He'll either have one or not.

FWIW The Watchbox now has 2 BLNRs for sale. One is $11.9 another is $12.9 - both marked pre-owned.

Now, I don't know if the 12.9 one is really "unworn", not sure if they use that designation for "new" stock. But if it's not unworn, that's quite a steep pre-owned price ...

He must’ve sold them. I don’t think he speculates probably just seized the opportunity. And right now no replacing for reasons we already know.

I don't think it's too hard to assume/work out that it's current form it will be discontinued as they will want all GMTs in the lineup to have the same movement surely?

But my guess is that due it to being a popular reference it will get the new movement, much like the Deepsea did and everyone thought that would go

Simple: they got sold based on discontinuation rumors, and he's likely not been able to get ahold of any to restock at a reasonable price.

I bought my watch last week. It took 3 days before he took it off the site for sale. So he probably just sold them all and happened to pull them off a little late. It was most likely coincidental they disappeared the day the rumors started. I have seen plenty online just for sale the last few days.
